Welcome to the North Texas RPG Convention! The NTRPG Con focuses on old-school Dungeons & Dragons gaming (OD&D, 1E, 2E, or Basic/Expert) as well as any pre-1999 type of RPG produced by the classic gaming companies of the 70s and 80s (TSR, Chaosium, FGU, FASA, GDW, etc). We also support retro-clone or simulacrum type gaming that copies the old style of RPGs (Swords & Wizardry, Castles & Crusades, and others). ANY RPG games are welcome at the Con, be it D&D 4e, Pathfinder, or something we haven't even heard of, just be sure you can fill a table with 5-6 people before you ask to have it added to the schedule...

 

Our 5th annual convention dates are: Thursday June 6, 2013 @ 1300 until Sunday June 9, 2013 @ 1800

 

Early Bird registration opens June 23, 2012 and runs until July 31, 2012. During the Early Bird Registration period, you can save $5.00 on the full Con registration fee, buy Con T-Shirts, and purchase discounted raffle tickets in preset quantities. (you can also purchase Vendor Tables & Shelves at a discounted price as well during the month of July)

 

Please look around, read up and register if you plan to attend. You must pay for one day or a weekend before you are able to register for a game. (though game registration doesn't open until midnight April 15th, 2013... midnight is the beginning of the day, not the end)

The Con will be held at the DFW Airport Marriot South: 4151 Centreport Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas 76155 (dfwairportmarriott.com). It's just south of the airport and really ought to carry an Arlington/Grand Prairie address, but Forth Worth has a long "finger" that spans over into the area. (it's only about 3 miles east of the last year's hotel) We have a special rate for con attendees that is in effect until May 15th, 2013 so don't delay in getting your reservations. We have 18 confirmed guests (and waiting on responses from others) attending in 2013: ( David 'Zeb' Cook, Jeff Dee, Jeff Easley, Jennell Jaquays, Timothy Kask, Peter Kerestan, Doug Kovacs, Robert Kuntz, "Diesel" LaForce, Rick Loomis, Steve Marsh, Frank Mentzer, Erol Otus, Sandy Petersen, Dr. Dennis Sustare, Ken St. Andre, James M. Ward, Steve Winter ). The lineup includes several of the more important figures in the history of RPGs as a whole and Dungeons & Dragons in particular.

 

Game Event registration won't be open until April 15th, 2013! You must register for the con and pay your fee (either daily or weekend) before you are able to register for games.
